White-Collar Unions Posted by: Rob on October 15, 1998 at 08:05:44: As we've come from the industrial age - where employees were overworked and underpaid - into the computer age - where computer people are overworked and underpaid, isn't about time that someone organize a "United Computer Workers" Union similar to the United Auto Workers of America? I could make more money driving a truck or assembling a car than I can integrating computer systems! What keeps this from happening? PS - we could all go on strike 12/31/1999! ; >) Follow Ups
