The job itself isn't so bad, it's just the hours. Because I'm the new guy I got stuck with the shit shift. I work 60 hours every week all 12 hour days and get paid straight time instead of overtime. Not only that, but my time switches between day and night shift (WTF?) So I'm sitting at the help desk the other day and I get a call that I don't have time to take care of. Now, according to procedure since I'm the only one there I am supposed to page an on call person to take care of the issue while I catch up on my work. I do this thing, I page the woman, the silly bitch starts telling me that I'm an idiot and a smart ass, she tells me that I don't know what the hell I'm doing and I shouldn't be there. I've been doing this shit for four years now, I don't need some "I just got my MCSE after 20 years of being a fucking housewife because I heard about it on the radio and happened to luck into a swank position because of it..." This crazy bitch doesn't even have any knowledge. So she bitches me out up one side and down the other. I tell my boss, low and behold...she doesn't even get spoken to about the issue. They just tell me to let them know if it happens again. What the hell am I supposed to do? I have to work with her one on one Monday for MEMORIAL DAY, on which I am scheduled for another 12 hours, while the rest of the office is off, accepting of course a few of those people who were forced to come in for 2 hours shifts "Just in case". One of these 2 hour shifts belongs to this stupid bitch. I don't know if I can suffer her presence, I can't help but feel as though if she says more than two words to me I'm going to say a few things to her I will no doubt regret.
