I emailed the guy telling how I felt about it cause I did not think my bosses cared and he stopped. Then he got fired for another reason and so it went away. I would say talk to the person first if they are reasonable and tell them how it offends you. If not talk to your boss in private and in the meanwhile keep a journal about when and what is being said for future complaints. I was recently subjected to a humiliating diatribe by a co-worker in front of many of my subordinates. Has anyone had a similar experience, and can you offer some advice? : sounds to me she,s trying to impress the brass.but really is showing true colors of her or his ways.what goes around comes around,believe me.been there!
