A title but no salary Posted by: d.h. on July 06, 1999 at 19:45:01: Our company recently restructured. In the process I was promoted to supervisor. The other three employees that were given the same promtion were and still are salaried employees. I on the other hand have remained an hourly employee. My boss says that a great deal of responsibility goes with a salary. He will evaluate me over 3 months and decide then. The other supervisors chat on the internet, talk to their spouses on their cell phones, and chat with one another for 30 - 45 minutes about non-work related items every day. How do I tactfully let my boss know that I do not follow my fellow supervisors practices and believe I deserve the pay scale increase asap? Follow Ups
