Once you are offered it - give at least a 2 week resignation notice. You won't get anywhere where you are at currently. I was in the same position once - I was promised raises and I was promised that I would get an assistant. They never followed through. Finally when I gave my resignation (I was there almost 4 years) they offered me more $ and an assistant. I quit anyway and I am MUCH happier at my new job. GOOD LUCK!!!!
