YOu will never be happy in that environment. I would suggest leaving while you still can. People like that will grind your self-confidence into the pavement if you aren't careful. And then it shows when you interview elsewhere. Network with your some of your regular callers if you can and see if you can apply for a job with their companies. Keep positive and quit as soon as you are able. : : I work in an office chock full of office politics. I'm surrounded by all these administrative assistants and my boss, the office manager, who spend 80% of their time chit chatting and talking bad about other employees behind their backs. My boss is a complete idiot who talks to me on an elementary level basis yet barely knows how to turn on her computer. She takes credit for being the "one" that holds up the office and keeps it together - but she doesn't do anything but shoot off her big mouth. She's a butt kisser to the senior management. And she treats any temp. that comes in to help us out as if they are garbage. : : I've been with this company for over 2 years and I am promised a better position..."soon"...which has yet to come. I"m at a loss of what to do. I feel isolated and terribly alone. : Quit!
