There are some really great managers out there, and some really horrible ones. If you have found a supportive and caring boss, don't give that up. You are at a typical phase in your development where you have become disillusioned and bored with your job. Most everybody goes through this. You boss should understand if you are ready to take on new tasks to make your job more challenging. You don't have to give up your current responsibilities, just take on more. Prove to her that you are on top of your current job and ready to branch out. The worst thing you could do (after you have been slacking) is quit-- you will only disappoint yourself and your boss.
