What is Web Lab

Crossover is a project of Web Lab, a non-profit new media lab/think-tank that creates innovative, interactive projects that demonstrate how the Web can make a lasting impact on people and society.

Web Lab was founded in 1997 by Marc Weiss, the creator of the celebrated public TV series "P.O.V." and a long-time leader in the independent film community. In the last four years, Web Lab has launched a series of groundbreaking Web sites and developed a widely praised technique for creating high-quality, high-content online discussions.
